Full Body Aesthetics is a training app first. This page exists because people still ask which powder to buy. We are not an official Optimum Nutrition or MyProtein shop. Labels change by flavour and batch — treat the numbers below as typical, not a lab certificate.

Who this is for / who should skip it

For you if you lift, want a leaner aesthetic look, and need a whey you will actually finish. Skip it if you already tolerate a tub you like, or if you get your protein from food and do not want a powder. Skip medical advice from a website — including this one.

Typical scoop, side by side

Gold Standard is usually a ~30g scoop with about 24g protein. Impact Whey is often listed around a 25g serving with about 21g protein, though some Amazon listings say ~23g on a 30g mix. Flavour changes the macros. Count grams of protein toward your day, not “scoops as a personality.”

Gold Standard usually wins on protein per scoop and how little you have to fuss with it. Impact Whey usually wins if you shop sales and like choosing a flavour you will not get bored of.

What is actually in the bag

Optimum Nutrition lists whey isolate first, then concentrate, then a small amount of hydrolysed whey. That is why it is often a bit leaner on carbs and lactose than a straight concentrate. It is still a blend, not a pure isolate.

Impact Whey is concentrate. That is not a dirty word. Concentrate is what most people should start with: cheaper, still whey, still useful after a full-body session. If dairy sits heavy, an isolate (ON’s isolate line, or MyProtein Impact Isolate) is the next step — not a fancier concentrate.

Taste and mixing

Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream are the two we point people to first because they are everywhere and rarely a surprise. Impact Whey Chocolate Smooth is the equivalent “just pick one” flavour on that side.

Mix both with water in a shaker. Milk makes either thicker and higher calorie. Neither powder is a meal. If a flavour tastes like chalk, switch flavour — do not switch your whole training plan.

Price, without the drama

List prices move every week. MyProtein’s own site is often cheaper than Amazon when a code is on. Gold Standard on Amazon is the “I need a tub today” option. Per gram of protein, sales can flip the winner. If you never wait for a sale, ON is often the calmer buy. If you will only drink it when it was cheap, buy Impact Whey on offer and stop refreshing charts.

How this fits full-body training

A full-body or upper/lower week is a lot of sessions touching the same muscles. Protein across the day matters more than the logo on the tub. Use a shake when food is awkward — after training, at work, in the car — not as a personality trait. See protein for an aesthetic physique and the simple stack.

Verdict

Buy Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard if you want the standard, consistent tub — isolate-led, easy to mix, flavours that do not pick a fight. Buy MyProtein Impact Whey if you want flavour range and sale pricing, and you will actually use a 1kg bag.
